The Reso Shield Hybrid combines stationary convenience with mobile freedom: permanently installed within your own four walls, or simply taken along when you leave the house. The well-designed two-component concept consists of a removable plug module and the Field Expander – a holder that plugs into a socket.
Setting it up at home
- Insert the module – Slide the plug module into the Field Expander.
- Plug it in – Connect the Field Expander to a free outlet. It only uses the outlet as a connection point and consumes no electricity. Done: around 80 m² (860 sq ft) of coverage on one floor.
On the go – no outlet needed
- Remove the module – Take the plug module out of the Field Expander.
- Position it – Place it near the source: on your smartphone, next to your laptop, in the center console.
- Automatic activation – The module uses the existing electromagnetic field; no external power source is required.
No power consumption
The Hybrid sits in a socket but uses no electricity: as a passive component, its power consumption is 0 watts – for the base station and the module alike. For you, that means no electricity costs, no heat build-up and no switching on and off. It can simply stay plugged in.
